Raydio: Okay, so i'm half a semester through my AP literature class, and I think to myself: creative writing can't be THAT difficult! So I start throwing around this AU concept, only to realize I cannot write nor am I creative. So here is some character concept stuff for now instead.
Sashimi: He man, I really like these! How can you say you're not creative when you've been making a bunch of really cool art? And hey, I'm no writer either but I still made a story, It might not be good but at least I've got some nice pics for it! I think you can do it!
Raydio: @Sashimi: Heh, maybe. I just don't know where to start. I came up with the AU idea with the first 'noir' image I posted. It's still germinating.

take it slowly, think about it, take notes, make a mindmap of the characters, important events and stuff

Whatever word you end up with, use it as the core motive of the chapter to build the narrative around. ( For example, Prequel has motives like Failure, Déjà Vu, perseverance, and Loyalty. )
Sometimes, narrowing down the pool of possibilities with random arbitrary restriction can actually help writers overcome the ponderous indecisive phase of the writing process. >):^]
