Toryu-Mau: “Your luck has run out, bandit!”

… Was talking about Japanese armors with Jadezzar earlier, so I decided to draw Katia as a Kamakura era Onna-bugeisha. c^:(<
This era was a time of great change, and was the beginning of the rise of female samurai warriors among the ranks. >):^]

Also, I remembered R2t wanted to see Garug get his end of the karma, so here it is~! >):^D

Jadezzar: This reminds me. Already done mine, but not yet colorized and edited. Still no luck to get image editing software yet...

Zargothrax: The style here is truly reminiscent of traditional japanese art, I really like this one!

Toryu-Mau: @DOOMGUY11: ... Imagine her doing Tiger style Kung Fu! That would be BOSS. >)B^]

Toryu-Mau: @Sashimi: ... Started drawing on much wider papers, so that I can start putting even more DETAILS, M8. c^:(<
Drawing on post cards had been my M.O for a while, but I always ended up running out of space to put all the ideas on them since it's only as big as a hand. >):^/
Carrying a whole sketch pad everywhere is a bit of a bother, but the trade off on larger draw space outweighs the loss on portability. >):^]

Toryu-Mau: @Jadezzar: ... Try Gimp, it's a freeware image editting software that's good enough that some people even animate on it. >):^D
A good example is Lord Bung's "Confinement" series, it's done mostly in Gimp, yet it's a professional grade show.
Although doing so is not recommended, since Gimp is not exactly made for that purpose, and Bung keeps using it because... Well, he's a stubborn boi, and sticks to what he knows. >):^/

DOOMGUY11: @Toryu-Mau: that's possibly what I need too, my sketch book may be too small just gotta try a larger one. And tiger kung fu is boss

Toryu-Mau: @Zargothrax: ... I looked at a lot of murals on scrolls from that period to try to capture the poises painters from that era tended to depict. c^:(<
