TheGibusGuy: I would like a very, very tight hug with her.

Rick2tails: also it being a long long hug would be nice

bluedraggy: She'd probably appreciate a nice PLATONIC hug! :)

I looked all through the comic to see if I could find an example of her smiling. The closest I found was her little smirk from her demonstration when she revealed she didn't have an assistant - that it was actually telekenesis. Frankly Katia just doesn't smile much. (Granted she doesn't have much to smile about often!) So I did my best to give her one but not make it look too weird. I think a happy Katia is something we need more of. But then... Sadcat is kinda the subtitle so I doubt we'll get much from Kaz.

NotGodOkay: I'm gonna post an opinion here right now. I think that AI art can be used for getting a design to work with. You never know what the system can come up with so it's an endless amount of base art. Again. My opinion.

Makkon: @NotGodOkay: I think AI art is fundamentally compromised because of what it took to get this kind of technology. it's got a usecase that really is not necessary, nor is there a strong demand for it. the results you get are often the most mathematically average and therefore generic it can give you, and it poisons the well. if you're looking for references and inspiration, primary sources such as other artists work or real-world reference will always be superior (which are getting harder to find now, specifically because of the proliferation of AI).
fact of the matter is, genAI does not need you to come up with reasons for why it should exist, because it shouldn't exist. that's my opinion, coming from a professional artist who has worked in the art industry for over 15 years, and who has seen first hand the overwhelmingly negative impact this tech has had. I hope, if anything, this can inform your opinion at least a little bit.

NotGodOkay: @Makkon: It makes sense now when you mention it. Forgot that it was learning from others and are keeping new artists from learning real art. I knew someone in the fetish community who did AI art who edited it later that I tried to learn real art to. They denied my suggestion on simple art, so I'm thinking that AI had taken over them completely. It seems like the next generation of artists is getting to the worst. Not only that but AI is mostly for porn.
