itblobboy: Your use of resources is inordinately creative
I think you made something very nice both for the competition and in general, I enjoyed watching it and kinda want more heh
SuperVaderMan: @JaneC idk maybe, I just used parts of the background to make it. I actually didn't remember that rule until the animation was mostly done, so whatever.
Enheldor: @JaneC, @SuperVaderMan, @furnut: "You can only use the pieces provided. Flips, scaling, cropping, ect. are okay, but no original art, text, or fillbucketing." The way I read it first, you could have text, but it couldn't tell a story. For example, no Star Wars into, maybe no character dialogue. Rereading it, it could just mean "don't put in your own words, but you can use letters and shapes provided to form words if you really want to." I personally Like the restriction of the first interpretation, because we got the Anakin/Obi-wan duel dialogue using only shrugs and the like. The second interpretation allows really creative people to make words to label things, such as the Teammates chest, or to reference popular culture, such as here and the Dark Souls death screen.
As such, I now interpret the ruling to be a combination of the two.
AMKitsune: Oh, if only this were a real game...
SuperVaderMan, however long you may have spent on this, it can't have been "too long" as it's absolutely perfect!
