Sigrid's ought to be that character with a "rags-to-riches" backstory, which, of course, wouldn't specifically justify anything she does now...

MevisRivinel: @stupid_smelly_greedy_cat_people: well the artist did say that it's Sigrid.
@YeOldeCuckolde: This is awesome. Now I actually want to know her full backstory, like what happened before the part that Stephane talked about.

Well, if the recent update is anything to go by, we might learn a thing or two about Sigrid.

Assuming she's not just playing Katia again.

Sashimi: She looks so innocent and full of hope! This is a really nice pic!

Rick2tails: so young and cute and not a total bitch yet. I guess its something about that city that turns people to crap?

LuminosityXVII: So far I like this Sigrid way better than present-day Sigrid.

comkiller: @LuminosityXVII

I actually kind of liked her before reading this comic.

LuminosityXVII: @comkiller: ...Okay, full disclosure: I actually haven’t played Oblivion yet. In fact, so far the only Elder Scrolls games I’ve played are Skyrim and a touch of ESO. Oblivion is on my to-do list, along with Morrowind, and I did do some basic timeline research when I started this comic—but I had no idea Sigrid was an actual Oblivion character until you prompted me to look it up out of sheer confusion just now.

I will now proceed to wear the Cone of Shame.

And also to bump Oblivion to the top of my queue.

Toryu-Mau: ... Well, everyone starts with a blank slate.
From her perspective, she's the hero.
Stephane does have a point in that regard, even though he kinda sucks at his job as a guiding patron. >):^/
