AzuajeM79: My khajiit of Skyrim, "K'athia"

Vidiotdragon: From the thumbnail I thought it was a cat version of Sivir (LoL).

Gren: How is this Prequel related? No offence, but this is just a normal random khajiit with a bunch of Skyrim stuff. It's not even related to Oblivion. The art is splendid though.

Geravind: Wow, chicly. But no one actually puts their sword on the ground like that.

- Reply
unknown_victor: @Gren: she's probably a descendent of katia. that makes it prequel related, doesn't it? (I'd say it's good enough).

ThatGuyWithAKhajiitWaifu: @unknown_victor: Silly victor, khajiits and humans can't have kids! :^)

Vidiotdragon: @ThatGuyWithAKhajiitWaifu: You just aren't trying hard enough then.

- Reply
ThatGuyWithAKhajiitWaifu: @Vidiotdragon: not having kids with her would be a GOOD thing.

Adroma: @ThatGuyWithAKhajiitWaifu: it would be one of those weird neko fantasy people but as a kid. Strange. I think interracial babies are possible due to the similarities in the um... reproductive systems.

ThatGuyWithAKhajiitWaifu: @Adroma: There was a wiki quote that said that it's based on the mother's species, but I still think it just wouldn't work. Not to mention that khajiit species are all based on moon cycles.

- Reply
unknown_victor: @ThatGuyWithAKhajiitWaifu: I tried to solve this problem scientifically but from my knowledge only breeds of the same species have ever "cross-breed" before, so ether ask God or use your imagination. (also katia thought quill and gro-upp were cross breeding so maybe it's possible).

AMKitsune: @unknown_victor: Normally, a matter like this could be easily explained with a basic explanation of the genetics of sexual reproduction. However, in a world where the phases of the moon (and for a time, it's very presence (or lack of)) can effect the eventual outcome of a conception, I'm going to have to hang up my science hat and say

unknown_victor: @AMKitsune: I'm sure a similar debate happened at Bethesda when this issue was brought up.
Meanwhile at Bethesda: "Guys, i have a great idea."
"What is it Steve?"
"When khajiit's have sex the type of khajiit baby they have is determined by the positions of the moons."
"That genius!"
That one guy in the corner: "but what if a khajiit and an elf have sex."

We don't have a solid answer be Bethesda yet so I assume not even they know.

- Reply
ThatGuyWithAKhajiitWaifu: @AMKitsune: Perhaps they also have to have the desire to want to conceive, or maybe Katia is just sterile..

- Reply
Ja_Jarsha_Rovandi: @unknown_victor: The moon cycle thing was probably to explain why the Khajiit became increasingly catlike from Arena to Morrowind.

- Reply
Adroma: @ThatGuyWithAKhajiitWaifu: I feel like it would most likely look like an Ohmes or be one. But really Ja Jarsha has a point, bethesda probably used it as an excuse for their lack of development for the khajiit race in early games.
