Radiocaster: this is why Oblivion didn't have cooking

- Reply
Radiocaster: A one Katia Managan was last seen arguing with an Imperial soldier over whether or not pilfering coins from the Take A Penny, Leave A Penny tray is actually considered stealing.

- Reply
Radiocaster: Smells like tree spirit

- Reply
Radiocaster: @FOXY_BONNIE: In the original comic it was 24, so let's just compromise and say that it was a 24-pack at one point previous to this moment in time being captured.

- Reply
Radiocaster: In the PREQUEL universe, a 24 pack of sweetrolls counts as a meal, chocolate cake is dryer than the sands of Elsweyr, and alcoholism is more unavoidable than it was in pre-prohibition America. No wonder why they haven't invented steam engines yet.

- Reply
Radiocaster: no don't worry guys it's a malt beer that's like drinking a loaf of bread

- Reply
Radiocaster: The sky is falling and she's just begun...
To salvage pieces cause they'll be worth a ton!

- Reply
Radiocaster: @NewFace: Remember to use your manners. Kazerad you bastard where's my updates please

- Reply
Radiocaster: Math tells us that "One" is actually a range of decimal values from anywhere between 0 and 1. Therefore, Katia did indeed touch exactly one, it's just that "one" represented one pile.

- Reply
Radiocaster: Sometimes the nightmare doesn't wait to stare back, for it has already seen everything worth seeing. It might also be because you woke it up while it was trying to sleep, weird how that works.

Don't ask me why Aggy keeps changing shades of blue... Okay, it's because I keep accidentally saving over my project files and I don't know what his official colors are, he just be like that.

Radiocaster: her back hurts from carrying all this unavailable content

- Reply
Radiocaster: That rock has no back support after all. Couldn't Kaz at least have had her spend the rest of eternity on a chair?

- Reply
Radiocaster: @NewFace: is it possible to learn this power

- Reply
Radiocaster: @Jig_Bigga: that would make a good one-liner if she misses the first time

- Reply
Radiocaster: Adventurers need plenty of rest! Or more than half a cup of cold coffee...

Dragonbreak Protocol brought to you by coffee beans; the only beans in PREQUEL that are socially acceptable to lick!

- Reply
Radiocaster: Yea, you can just report your own image and include a link to the new one and ask for it to be replaced

- Reply
Radiocaster: The fateful reunion. Just kidding, I don't believe in fate. It's mostly due to strange luck-based gravitation and the mythical phenomeon known as "plot convenience".

- Reply
Radiocaster: Nothing wrong with it if you ask me. Obviously there's a time and a place for it though.

- Reply
Radiocaster: Rule 1 of breakdancing: Breakdancing does not mean try to break your legs

- Reply
Radiocaster: @LewEase: She entered the dance competition after all

- Reply
Radiocaster: I really hate that rock

- Reply
Radiocaster: I swear I'm going to draw that rock getting struck by lightning or destroyed by an industrial digger or ticketed for bouldering in a no-rock zone

- Reply
Radiocaster: Yeah lads, Kaz is just really busy getting the boulder to look just right.

- Reply
Radiocaster: It's gotten so bad that people keep telling me there's a new update out while they're actually referring to the one from June

- Reply
Radiocaster: Coming soon to a PREQUEL Booru near you... probably...

- Reply
Radiocaster:

Feel free to delete the other one that I screwed up on, to whoever can

- Reply
Radiocaster: Well I ballsed every step of that one up

- Reply
Radiocaster: Ah well, no more fire stick. Just when I started getting good at drawing it too!

The animations were very ambitious this time around, except for the last two which were honestly very low priority. I think the hardest (and most satisfying) one was the bottle spinning, though the control panel was the most time-consuming. The next page will probably be less complicated just to spare my poor hands.
I've been listening to a lot of music from Hexen II recently. It's the kind of music I would usually listen to while reading webcomics, so it's kinda funny to listen to it while drawing webcomics.
As always, feel free to leave commands in the comments.

Radiocaster: I see you have joined the dark side, welcome, retrieve your Krita-branded cloak and scythe by the door

- Reply
Radiocaster: Just a doodle as a break from the comic. I've been listening to Viva La Vida a lot and it made me think of the count from Kvatch who had like, one joke scene in a flash game lol. I drew Rajirra too since I don't think most people are going to remember Count Goldwine. She makes a good barbarian though. Maybe he's found an heir after all.

So this will go on for longer than I thought because I've been having a lot of fun making it. I'm also still taking commands and I may use old ones too, don't worry.
This 'update' originally started out like the one before it as all one GIF. Eventually the scope of what I wanted to do with the animations grew way too large to keep it all on the same timer, so I'll now be splitting them up into one GIF per panel. They'll be a little awkward to read (remember that you can click on them to make them bigger!) since I have to cram most of the panels in the comment section. The source leads to the Newgrounds upload which might be easier to read. If anyone has any suggestions for a place to put this comic to make it more accessible I'm all ears.
Fun fact, the "dragonbreak protocol" was originally gonna be part of a dropped plot about Katia meeting an alternate universe, irrationally angry version of herself and then they would all go out and play bowling or something. I don't know, it doesn't make sense to me either. She was also going to keep a diary, since I also considered making more self-contained stories and it would have made a convenient way to group them together, but we'll just pretend that didn't happen since I accidentally made something too interesting not to follow up on.
Living in fear, living afraid, hysterical every day; all because I let your poison paralyze me.

Radiocaster: @Jig_Bigga: Never expected to see Aging Wheels here lol

- Reply
Radiocaster: Yeah, everyone knows Rajiira can only ever be depicted with a resting bitch face

- Reply
Radiocaster: @Jig_Bigga: It ain't public indecency if the public ain't around to see it

- Reply
Radiocaster: put a bunch of rings on her like a naughty shower curtain

- Reply
Radiocaster: Necromancy must have been made legal because there sure are a lot of shambling corpses in the PREQUEL community

- Reply
Radiocaster:
Katia hides her fear by being caught in the moment, impressing her magic prowess on those who look on. Quill-Weave hides her fear with her expert poker face and steel-forged responsibility. They thing they're scared of is eachother, by the way.
For some reason I keep thinking of evil Quill-Weave as being like Willy Wonka, but instead of making chocolate, she makes laminated pineapple carcass
"Along came a spider that sat down beside her and said 'What's in the bowl, bitch?'"

Radiocaster: Ehh, I can't possibly know what the motive was behind that post, so I don't see why I should give praise to it.

- Reply
Radiocaster: @NewFace: To be fair, most of us pulled together to dunk on it

- Reply
Radiocaster: FP hasn't been active here since 2019. Wouldn't surprise me if they don't even know about it. I think community opinion is important too in this case; don't think I need to reiterate how I feel about it, anyway.

- Reply
Radiocaster: As a wise man once said "Finally, some good fucking food"

- Reply
Radiocaster: At least now she won't have trouble making it from one town to another :v

- Reply
Radiocaster: It's certainly got enough complaints to warrant it, the people hath spoken and all that schnazz

- Reply
Radiocaster: @bluedraggy: At least if you made a version of it, yours would be twenty times more interesting to me than this rabble.

- Reply
Radiocaster: @plum: There sure is a lot of unexplainable artifacts, and the fact that it's been bitcrushed to cairn and back, has some pretty nonsensical anatomy in places (don't remember Katia's rear being a wedge, nor do I remember the arc where she lost a finger on her left hand), and that there's no source or even an artist tag, AND that the uploader has never uploaded something of this quality... You've a point, something isn't adding up here.

- Reply
Radiocaster: @Jig_Bigga: You can just send a report on your own image containing a link to the replacement. I did it for my shipping piece when I misspelled Scribonia's name.

- Reply
Radiocaster: yeah, that seems like a fair compromise

- Reply
Radiocaster: A followup to that stupid gun picture I made. I played around with stuff affecting/leaving the frame since I thought it'd be funny. Fun fact: The font used in Prequel is Verdana, took me an embarrasingly long time to figure that out. I also never knew how important GIF optimization is, up until now I've just been getting away with storing whole frames. I guess this counts as graphic violence? It's cartoonish enough that I think I can get away with it :P. I might actually continue this if people want me to, but that might not be for a while.

- Reply
Radiocaster: @TheGibusGuy: Oh no! You know what this means, don't you?? She must be cold.

- Reply
Radiocaster: @NotGodOkay: I don't think Rajirra will ever sound the same way in my head ever again now that you've said that
