bluedraggy: In my never-ending quest to break the Booru, I've discovered that it doesn't much like 18-chapter novelette-length fanfiction. Who knew?

So I broke it into 2 parts. It's complete. 18 chapters total. Yeah, you thought someone else was devoting way too much time to their weird OC? Dude, step it up!

bluedraggy: Well hey, at least it's complete in 2 posts. That's not too bad is it? Now if I decide to narrate it into 18 chapters - yeah, that might be a bit much. Plus, if I do, just shoot me. That's a lot of work! I do think this is my best yet though. But everyone always thinks that I suppose.

bluedraggy: Oh! Cool! I just got a word count of the entire thing. Clocks in at 31442 words. Then I checked this site:
https://blog.reedsy.com/how-many-words-in-a-novel/ and found that this story fits squarely into the "novella" category and not too far from a whole novel! No, really, I'm rather proud I could sustain a story for that length. It's really okay if nobody reads it, at least I know it's something I can do - and in just a few weeks too.

I keep hearing people say like a habit that it's the negative minority that makes all the noises and ruins things for the majority, but if that logic is so concrete, why not be the positive minority who is just as loud? >):^o

AMKitsune: My headcanon for the surprisingly human facial hair is that as they grow older, some Khajiit choose to make themselves look more rugged by dyeing parts of their face. I refuse to believe that their fur colouration naturally forms in such specific patterns!

Unless, that's how it naturally is for them and humans decided to start trimming beards to match the Khajiit look many, many years ago. Both options as unlikely as the other! (I'm going to stick with the dyeing option)
