Ive noticed a lot of silly stuff like this sometimes garners more attention the real art, and I wish there was a way to show the artists that I like that their art is nice without having to make up an elaborate comment.
(Also you're likely really busy so this is proabbly more proper a question for the moderators)

forestOverlord: @Kazerad: I do like the idea of not have a numerical tally and it is more meaningful to leave the artist some words. If I enjoy an artwork I make sure to leave a comment, even if it's just to say that I enjoy it. Maybe there could be an emoticon that clearly conveys that message…

AMKitsune: @Raydio: If I had to guess, I'd imagine that's due to a limitation of how the sprites are used. There's probably a limited width and height for each frame of animation, which would make adding a tail somewhat tricky.
