It's to show love and work someone puts in their drawing, photos, ect, for Prequel. Either something us Mods, or Kaz himself seems worthy to showcase. Just because something looks pretty doesn't make it a Masterpiece. I mean look at all the art in a Art Museum. Most of that are just blobs on a canvas.

Unidentified_BA: I'm going to stop this before it snowballs in some way. Let's be clear about the whole "featured masterpiece" thing. Much like art itself, the featured masterpiece is subjective to what the mods decide should fill that role. It's not any different than what gets labeled questionable or what even gets deleted.

Yes, there are lots of deserving art here that is not given a fair shot, but that's too bad. I doubt that was the aim of the artist in the first place, to be a "featured masterpiece". It is just a fun extra feature that is not important or with discussing. Sometimes the role will be filled by a shitty pumpkin that took 20 minutes, or art that took weeks to make. None of it matters. So just relax, everyone.

hael: If it makes everyone feel a little better, I made the spiked choker, belt, and ankle guards myself (although the swords are from a halloween store). So it's not like I just tossed a costume on my dog. I'm sure it didn't take as long as some of the art here, but it was done with love as appreciation for the awesomeness that is sword-dog and Prequel overall.
