bluedraggy: Sometimes I get these concepts and if I can't draw them on my own completely I... um... borrow a bit of existing Kaz drawings and use them for my own nefarious purposes. But no female presenting nipples were harmed in the production of this!
bluedraggy: Strength - represents mastering raw emotion in order to bring calm to yourself or a situation. Similar to The Chariot in that it represents overcoming challenges, however Strength usually refers to inner challenges.
Symbolism: Infinity over her head represents Unlimited Potential. Often depicted as holding a lion by it's jaws while the lion shows no resistance. The lion represents primal urges, wants and desires. Note Strength does not kill the lion, she only tames it. The woman displays kindness, grace and tenderness to the lion while keeping it under control by her will. In some tarot decks this card is given the name "Lust".
I had considered doing a real lion, but... Katia! As for Weedum-Ja, well, Kaz did point out she was one of the strongest NPCs in Kvatch at the time of the crisis. And though she is half-exposed, I think her and Katia's lack of immodest bumps may allow it to slide without Questionable tag. If not, no harm, no foul. I did intentionally not ad a background here. Something about it seemed to look better as just the two characters to me.
bluedraggy: The High Priestess. "A card of mistery, stillness and passivity" Suggests time to retreat and reflect on the situation and trust your inner instincts to guide you through it. Things around you are not what they appear.
Obviously I took some liberties here. Originally I was going to have her robed, but... well. I'm bluedraggy I guess. Represents:Desirability, unattainability, mystery, sensuality, spirituality, thirst for knowledge, mystery, subconscious, higher power, creativity, fertility
When finished, I wasn't going to actually use this in the tarot since it might be considered too questionable. However, after some persuasion decided to go for it - but only uncensored as, imho, any High Priestess isn't going to bow to morality, she sets morality.
Censored in the group collage made sense though. I didn't want the whole thing to get a questionable tag if avoidable. But I feel like holding firm on keeping her uncensored here as I think it's kind of important to what she represents.
Symbols: Crescent Moon under her feet connects to the horned cow goddess Hathor and the maiden stage of the maiden/mother/crone goddess archetype.
Flowing robe symbolizes the flow of life, water, tides, the blue of it indicates intuition, active and passive forces as well as higher learning.
The pillars are normally black(B) and white(J) but instead I chose to invert the ridges to separate them so one is concave, the other convex.
The B and J stand for Boaz and Jachin - the two front columns of Solomon's Temple. The pomegranate in the curtain behind her represents the female or feminine principle. The palm leaves represent
the male or masculine principle. The equal-armed cross was a 4th century religious symbol but more inclusinve and mystical representation than the
typical Latin cross. Other symbols I've chosen to leave off. And maybe add the symbol on her throne. It represents catgirls with boobs and tails. :)
As for the pose, any similarity between it and a scene from Basic Instinct is entirely intentional.
As for why Ra'jirra... well, she does represent a balance of dark and light - which is evidenced by her still controversial story arc.
Plus she's a hottie.
bluedraggy: Last chapter in the Evil Quill-Weave/Rosie/Princess story. Finally! And thanks Lapma for the awesome image I got to add to it! I really do suggest you post it separately. Not many people actually read this stuff and they wouldn't get to see it otherwise.
bluedraggy: You can't, but the mods can and will. First put the new image up somewhere on the internet (I usually just send it to someone on discord) then open it to get the full image URL to send to the mods. THen come back here, open your image in the booru. On left under Report Image (did a bad thing), ask to have the image replaced and include the URL of the new one. A little hassle but better than nothing.
bluedraggy: It was pretty borderline - but hey, that's what the mods get paid big bucks for, right? Let them sort out whether it's too much. In its original form, this was slightly too much. I toned down the text a bit. But there's technically nothing showing and it is a running meme out there, so I had to give it a shot. I've switched back to writing for a little bit - made a promise that I probably won't manage on a non-Prequel story chapter, but I will at least get the last of my Evil Quill-Weave chapters out soon. So no more lewd art for a little bit. I'll wait for the mods to go back to sleep first.
bluedraggy: Well, when starved for content it's natural for fans to start creating their own. Of course, the direction that fanboi content takes depends highly on the creator's tastes. Me, I like olive oil.
bluedraggy: It's funny you mention that Furmidable. I've actually removed the tears on sites where I could. It wasn't really conveying the emotion I was trying to go for.
bluedraggy: Still working on feets. Boobs took a while to make them look more appropriately droopy and not too big. But her face... I really like her face.
She's naïve at a great many things, but she's the opposite of naïve on the subject of sexiness. That, she's an expert at. She just wants to be good at something else. Pretty much anything else.
bluedraggy: Don't suppose some kindly mod would consider replacing the image with this upscaled one? https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/751797080586190878/875168083138973746/katiakneehug.png
bluedraggy: Not Sure If Questionable. Borderline I guess. Will leave it up to the Judges. (Though I guess if this isn't, those other two aren't either.) I did a Katia-as-Marilyn but it was kinda sucky, so I asked for suggestions and Bokdan0 came through in flying colors. I really must credit him as co-artist on this one. Not exactly on-model Katia that I was originally going for, but it's so much better than that. Sometimes you just would rather have the sexy. So... Katia Monroe? Marilyn Managan?
bluedraggy: Sexykat #2... FIRE! (You could say I'm 'being the change I want to see'!) Hand is marginally better this time around. Feet not so much, but then the last one didn't have feet. (Sorry. Not Bean-Qualified yet.)
bluedraggy: Decided to try something new. 100% me this time, no tracing, just refs. Kaz style pixellated. The idea is to force myself to draw while doing things that have a bit of humor in them. The series is to try and draw Katia as per Kaz' stylesheet, but doing 'sexy' poses. Because really, she's not exactly a sex bomb if done using canon design. (or a better way to say it is that most 'sexy' fanart of Katia takes some significant liberties with the original design.) This is #1. Just finished #2. Hands are wonky. Head implies a broke neck. Yeah. Owell. That's why I'm doing this - to get better. Appreciate the crits. I'll use them on the next attempt.
bluedraggy: That was great! I referenced it directly in the story because it was just too funny to NOT. No, it doesn't happen, but it's referenced. Yeah, maybe Khajiits would have a little problem being chefs. (also Mookie wrestling baby Cthulhu)
bluedraggy: Wow! Both VERY Kaz-like and yet at the same time very NOT Kaz-like! Seriously if someone told me this was a Kaz-commission I'd believe it. No idea where that outfit is from, but it's definitely unique!
bluedraggy: Got the OK from Kuro to... um... modify his prior post a bit. :) She's been draggy-ized. Also I'm fairly sure this is the DEFINITION of over-rendered, but it was a fun day spent anyway! Nothing here wasn't done in Photoshop manually - the background is done by hand (though I did make liberal use of the render trees function). Basically I took Kuro's original, warped it in a couple of rather obvious places, and then started rendering the hell out of her.
bluedraggy: At this point I'd be happy just to finish the one I started! :) Though I must admit the snek is the perfect companion for EQW. Good arts Kuro!
bluedraggy: Oblivion Mudflaps #3 - Rajirra (because really, how hard can modifying Katia be to make Rajirra? - actually a little more than you might have thought!)
bluedraggy: A bit uncharacteristic of QW, but there are times when an unexpected person walking in the door while you're not exactly dressed for company really isn't cause for immediate alarm. If somebody comes barging in without knocking first, it's their problem. QW promises she'll get appropriately embarrassed later after she cools off.
Did this one on my own with some tracery obviously. But that head was a hella challenge as I really wanted it to be at that position. I think it turned out at least as good as the lame hands and feet. I wasn't 100% sure if this would be booru-able and I have to admit I did some real work trying to get it so. Of course there's another version. But I think I've gotten all the worst naughty bits eradicated.
Also, but for the clothes-off bit, this was pretty much me yesterday.
bluedraggy: Wonderful when a plan comes together! :) (And I will color this!)
Inspired because I fixed my own clothes washer last week and saved like $500 of a new washer or prob $150 for a repair of a $8 part.
No hammers involved. But then, I did miss out on a sadcat repairperson's buttcrack.
bluedraggy: I am so fucking embarrassed. Though proud as hell to have something I worked on in Featured Masterpiece, how in hell did I forget her green chest color!?!?!?!??!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bluedraggy: Dammit, just when I start getting a wee bit of confidence I can color okay, something like this comes along. Gotta find and follow SashaTF, but I must say that without good lines, the best coloring in the world is for naught. Both highly commended!
bluedraggy: It simply wouldn't have been right to have this chapter without a Lapma drawing. And this one, at least, I think I can get by without a Questionable tag. I do think when I'm finished I'll consolidate all this into a single file and ask the kindest mods in the world to remove the individual ones. When it's done. Three more chapters or so should do it.
