Tahrey: That said it's a great pic, the eyes plus shading and fur effects around the jowls and ears particularly are very nice :)

- Reply
Tahrey: Who says she's naked btw? Might have something on behind the poptart, but even that sort of counts as clothing.

Also a fur coloured bra.

- Reply
Tahrey: Aw, I liked the one with the less angry face and non-munched poptart, even if the colouring was incomplete. Couldn't we have had two separate uploads? :3

- Reply
Tahrey: Also if I didn't say it before, nice arts all round, here.

Not sure how to take being described as an "Alien" :D

- Reply
Tahrey: Maybe it's the other way round then. Maybe I'm too sober to figure it out.

Pass the rum.

- Reply
Tahrey: Also whose legs are those sticking out from behind the abandoned attempt at an origami crane?

- Reply
Tahrey: s/Cool!/cheap! :D

- Reply
Tahrey: Not x-over collab then?

If nothing else it's sort of 4chanly crossingover, as that's definitely a non-EFG (ie non-V) Anon right there.

Also cities being nuked to get rid of zombies reminds me of SOMETHING...

Tahrey: @ASW ... never was good on low-end 1970s US cars. Meh.

Also, this is why people have to stand with their backs against the height board when in identity parades or having mugshots taken ;)

Also, this model is nearly 12" high?! :o

Tahrey: > censorship

hehe

Tahrey: btw are you doing them in pure clay, or is it on a wire frame? They're much easier to pose and move around without the unfired clay falling to pieces, arms coming off, etc, that way.

Tahrey: The usual arguments about Lizard Boobs aside, don't you think you've been a little... enthusiatic... about QW's upper/lower weight distribution? :D

- Reply
Tahrey: In fact, to get the "FBI" badge to appear, we need head: 5 / -- (floofy Anderson/Aniston hair, no accessories), plus body 13 / -- / 9 / 4 (blue business jacket, NO gloves, matching plain knee-length skirt, matching flats).

Got a feeling that the default is closer to, say, Aniston in Office Space or something.

- Reply
Tahrey: @tronn : besides, it defaults to fingerless biker-style gloves, not latex ones.

- Reply
Tahrey: I translated all the Russian on this page into English and it still makes almost no sense. You people are crazy and need to lay off the vodka.

- Reply
Tahrey: @tronn: Scully wears a business suit, or occasionally a lab coat. WTF are you on about.

Are you getting confused with another Gillian Anderson character, or possibly one of several different Jennifer Anistons?

- Reply
Tahrey: You did good at arting, TGWAKW.

Tahrey: *googles for Transistor*
Ah, I think this might be the inspiration pic, or at least some version of it. Brilliant work on recreating that :)

Tahrey: I'm tempted to give this a "questionable" tag, just because of what we can't see out of shot which may be creating that reaction o_O

In any case...

Tahrey: Incorrect. Story666.gif is the end of a conversation between two necromancers. Comme ca:

This, I think, is some kind of (zombie) crossover thingy that hasn't been tagged correctly?

Tahrey: Katia and the Seven Clonejiits.

Done.

- Reply
Tahrey: Well, thank you kindly, but I think I'll pass.

- Reply
Tahrey: I'm confused how that's "Dana Scully" other than the 90s hair (of the wrong colour) and the grey skirt.

- Reply
Tahrey: Festive holiday disaster looks rather better than it has any right to, here, though.

- Reply
Tahrey: This one wonders quite why you started with the base model that you did.

- Reply
Tahrey: TMW you have access to a colour laser printer and plenty of suitably stiff card, but no glue...

- Reply
Tahrey: ^ ha! :D

Tahrey: Or in other words, is it Plasticine™, or FIMO™?

- Reply
Tahrey: Looks very... SNES-y :)

Tahrey: Since when was a low cut blouse considered in any way explicit? Only answer if you can name an example from the last 25 years in countries without heavily filtered internet. I think I've seen worse than this on high street advertising hoardings.

Presumably the NSFW applique on the thumbnail is simply because a nippley version happens to be linked in the source.

Artwise, me likey lots, though it took a moment to work out that it wasn't (WE DON'T TALK ABOUT) The Razorblade Incident.

- Reply
Tahrey: Pretty sure the whole "IDKLOL" type pose is pretty cliché by now anyway... so even the tumblr one is unlikely to be original.

Anyway, cool stuff however it was birthed. The style of the face is making me think of some euro cartoon or comic but I can't quite figure what.

Tahrey: Mmmm... matrixy

- Reply
Tahrey: wait... >6ft? Are you certain about that?

- Reply
Tahrey: I see what my uneducated european eyes think may be a Chevy Nova as well...

Tahrey: IDK LOL

Tahrey: we need to have updates every time there's new stuff added to this :D

Tahrey: Also, such smooth gifwork, I'm impressed.

Tahrey: Obviously you've never had it done to you /properly/

Tahrey: There's unicode for a pineapple? Anyway, just pretend that's a pineapple with the spines and leaves taken off.

- Reply
Tahrey: Literally it seems to just be adding in the face-fuzz, so it's not a particularly swingeing change.

Tahrey: ∞/0, you meant, TGWAKW?

Tahrey: HELP I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS

Tahrey: I can't believe I watched 8 1/2 minutes of that (out of 24 total)... in silence, too (...work PC). This was just as horrific in motion, at least close up. Excellent work. It did actually look a lot better from further away, although the impression was still somewhat more like shaved, painted skin rather than fur :)

Then again, I'm also wondering whether the first four models were made on a male wrestler base, just with fake boobs, butt/hip pads and groin tucks, as the impression they give is of novice drag queens, right down to the walk... (the latter two are more realistic but have a similarly offputting stripper vibe).

That actual-real-life-WWE "Jericho" bumper vid near the start is fucking terrifying, by the way. People actually watch this stuff on TV, for enjoyment? o_O

- Reply
Tahrey: I prefer the slight shift as well. It's not that uncommon a thing for cartoons. Your base model is quite simplistic, easy to identify and to draw at speed, and generally cutesy and humorously or childishly deformed in some way. Whereas for closeups and dramatic moments, you add more detail and realism.

Also, it's just one of those MSPA-alike things. Like the arms going missing ;)

Tahrey: Compare with our old friend here who made a lot of us feel things we couldn't yet properly understand during our 80s/90s childhoods... there's not that much difference.

Tahrey: Let's say "it's nothing more than you'd commonly see on a roadside billboard". All the important bits that would exclude it from such a location are obscured.
