Fralex: So I was closing some tabs in preparation for showing a friend Steins;Gate, and this picture was on one of them. He only saw it for a split second as the tab was closing, IE just long enough to get absolutely NO context for it. He declined to comment. I need to come up with a cunning plan to bring this up again so I can (attempt to) explain myself, or this is going to bother me forever. What do I do? Show a different fanart SO weird he'll HAVE to demand an explanation?

GreyAcumen: It's funny. I actually thought my: "lower hood to shroud visage and activate magic" idea was inventive, but that seems to be the way EVERYONE is going. Also, I'm seeing a trend towards "cover eyes to not be seen" which just makes me think Kaz is going to subvert the trend and make the "blindness" be something ridiculous, like the hood deliberately pulling itself down to block Katia's vision.

AMKitsune: @OrsaTheSimurgh: Thanks. I'm glad you like what I did with it :D. The first time I tried cleaning up your original, it ended up looking like an old 90's 3d computer model. Not good at all. At least this way, it can retain the details and overall style of the original whilst having a slightly different look and feel.
