Skybolt06: Hey, my longest chapter yet (six pages in the doc) and also the most planned, only questionable because of the end, and the title came naturally, the reunions were Turgenev and Rajirra, Josh and Kat, and Kat and her old self, and fun fact the Alexanur thing at the end was actually a typo that I chose to keep, because it made things funnier, took about two hours to write this, hope you enjoyed!

GrizzlyBear: Damn, you’d think they’d at least brief Katia about possibly having to get down and dirty with Turgenev beforehand, or try to avoid it somehow, because that seems a little unfair to her. Also getting drunk while undercover seems a bit risky, especially when she forgets she’s supposed to be Rajirra

egliomatn: @_Noxygen_: i wouldn't worry so much about the accuracy as i do trying to represent what makes her LOOK like her, if that makes sense. i boil down her head shapes to more general figures and add the rest of the details as i go along in the worst sketching process achievable to make the fine art that can be classified as "good" and "great," so thank you :)
i'm not equipped to give good advice on this.
_Noxygen_: @egliomatn: np. I've realized yesterday that I need to improve my fundamentals more (mostly form and lines) before I try tackling on another little project. My end goal is to make at least one fully body drawing that has nice shape language, design, and form. I'd like to see more cool work from you, take care!

Skybolt06: Hey look, another small chapter, (yeah sorry about that) But hey, this is the most planned part of my fanfiction here, so... shit's about to go down (for real this time, in the next few chapters) so, yeah. um... hope you enjoy this, and I just want to say, thanks for staying, and also, criticism is always appreciated, cause it helps me get better at what I plan to do for a while (Oh yeah baby, there's already a planned sequel, if anyone would want that, or possibly a prequel (pun intended) of what happened with Quill, but that's less planned) but yeah, this chapter is the first chapter I realized that there was no "fanfiction" tag on so, I'm gonna have to go back and change that on all the others but yeah, see y'all in the next chapter, and again, hope you enjoy! (I think this is the longest description so far too!)
_Noxygen_: I like it! I'm no writer so you can take what I say with a grain of salt, but I feel you should add some more dramatic words for better descriptive imagery. Especially for the main events in the story. Now that I've read this, you've inspired me to want to write now (I haven't written in a year lol). How do you post texts? Do you just upload a text document?

Skybolt06: Um... being a writer you'd think I'd know what a "pool" is but sadly, I'm only 14 and have somehow magically skipped a grade in math and moved to algebra one, but language and definitions aren't necessarily my strong point, cause as _Noxygen suggested, I could use more descriptive words, which I have been trying in the next chapter, (which has worked really well btw) but if you could explain to me what type of organization this is, I'd be happy to make things... easier to find? Anyway, yeah, I would like to do that

GrizzlyBear: @Skybolt06: Don’t worry, I didn’t know what they were either when I first joined. Pools will categorize a group of posts into a collection and will be added to the pool list where it can be browsed. I just thought it’d work better than giving them all the friends in high places tag. So if that sounds good, go to pools in the top right and try creating one. If you get stuck you can read about it in the help page
Btw I think it’s awesome how you were able to write this at 14. I’m almost in my 20’s and I don’t think I’d do so well honestly

Civilization has ended centuries ago. But Quill is still in her eternal slumber.
Zargothrax: @NotGodOkay: The Saturalia minigame series from last year in which Quill went through a series of Christmas themed dreams/nightmares. It was supposed to open a new level every day. But some levels arrived with delays. We are still waiting for the last level, day 28. The levels ended with Quill waking up, or licking eggnog, then presumably waking up. But since the last level never came, she never awakened.
@Skybolt06: Thank you. What I'm really proud of here was the speed. I work really slowly, that's why I don't have that much art here. But this was done in 4 hours, which is quick by my standards. @KuroNeko: Quill will be in a nasty surprise when that happens. No more booze. |
