Zargothrax: Say no to moon sugar, fellas. Especially you Kat, you're supposed to be allergic to it.
And yeah these are amazing! Especially the angles from which the plot is captured in some panels. 4th panel for example. Many would probably just draw this scene from the side, showing both characters, but this angle emphasizes Quill concern way better. Not your first comic right?
Zargothrax: @bluedraggy: Kill Weave’s pretty much how I’d imagine her “being” a villain. It also gives the needed context to the image at hand. She hired a painter to paint her sitting on her throne, but it didn't look menacing enough so she asked Katia to lie on the floor and spill some ketchup, so that she'd look more intimidating on the painting.
(I actually tried writing this into a fanfic but it didn't turn out very well, so I think I'll save the boruu from that)
Zargothrax: Gentle reminder of where the boruu's borders are.
Btw is this still"questionable"? She looks immensely slutty, but there's no nudity nor suggestive actions going on anymore, so I think it shouldn't be.
Zargothrax: *to solve
*constantly
*thought to herself
Sorry I was writing this on a phone screen while on the train. Mistakes were made.
Nice painting, by the way!
Zargothrax: [...] Even Quill was surprised how much the lid of the mermalade jar was stuck. Such nonsense should not get the better of villain like her, especially one equipped with a dagger like she had in her hand, planning to be used tobsolve just this problem at hand. At the hand of a constanrtly drunk villain. The jar opened, either of the effort applied, or out of fear who knows. But it may have been the latter considering it tried to escape right afterwards, right towards the floor, creating a sizeable mermalade puddle.
So much for that. Time to sit majestically like any normal villain, while I forget my blunder- she thought ro herself.
Oh Katia, mind your ste-
Zargothrax: Dayum, at this point I just have to ask, how do you guys do your linework? Not just the pixel art style, but it's smoothness as well. During the digital inking process, I generally have to retry every C and S curve sometimes dozens of times before I get an acceptable result. And even then, the end result isn't the best.
Zargothrax: @bluedraggy: Not at all, you can upload colored or otherwise modified drawings of mine to the boruu front page without asking me.
Also thanks for the contribution!
Btw I like drawing in the side muscle at the ASIS point because I think it looks good, but now I see how it could be mistaken for an under-underwear :D
Zargothrax: You were supposed to destroy the witches, not join them!
Very nice job with the fabric creases and the shading on the clothes!
Makes me wonder though why is the shading missing on her body though (with the exception of some self cast shadows). Still very good!
Zargothrax: This isn't what I originally wanted to draw. I wanted to draw a stretching Kat that, so far it checks out, but the version I had in mind was way more racist... I started drawing this as a warmup and got carried away. While I was at it, my main focus was to capture the flow of the body, especially with the legs.
Zargothrax: @OgTariq: You take too many risks lol. Considering the subculture's reputation you risked being lynched. Keep it safe guys, I'd hate to see the boruu lose any of you!
Zargothrax: Prequel is set in a cruel world where cats do not have their "D'awww" effect on people, and most of them would probably rather see them gone forever. Black irony it is, that she got subjected to what her kind is mostly indicted of. Kind reminder that this is not a happy comic.
Also, screw you, I just made a funny redraw of this scene, but now I'd feel bad about uploading it so I guess I'll have to wait a few days
Nicely conveyed emotions though
Zargothrax: ...Then, from the Dark, they came, and found the Souls of Lords within the flame.
Nito, the first of the dead,
the Witch of Izalith, and her Daughters of Chaos,
Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight, and his faithful knights,
and the naked slutcat, so easily forgotten.
Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: Yellow eyes can be a symptom of a damaged liver, which is common with alcoholics. It all makes sense now.
@dex_go_loco: Nicely drawn kvatch arena armor! Especially with the wolf emblem. I usually have to redraw that multiple times as it always turns out goofy. Very nice background, and pose, cute paw pads! The front of the chest appears somewhat flat. Possible solutions I can come up with: the skirt should arc inwards around the side of her hip, some shading on one side could help too. The belt is drawn well for it's angle, it's just an unfortunate angle. Had her hip be tilted back a little, or if the she was leaning a little, the belt would not have been dead-on front view, in which case it could have arced too, (following and) showing off the roundness of the body. Overall: great improvement compared compared to the previous!
Zargothrax: @OgTariq: I missed that tag, you're right, that's half a point there.
As for the backstory, the console command part got me too. Good to know the dragonborn plays on PC. Who would even want to be in Skyrim anymore without mods.
Zargothrax: @bluedraggy: Y'mean post 4799? Find it strange too, giving credit'd be the least. Lets give the benefit of the doubt and say scyorfufse is new to art and doesn't know the etiquette yet. That should change though.
Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: Would not have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it. Even now, the only part that sticks out there is paint's lack of anti-aliasing.
I've noticed this earlier, but you draw metal really well. The Even with it's simplicity it gives the impression of the correct material. Nice work, as always!
Zargothrax: I've heard something like in TES, planets to the Daedra/Aedra are planes of existance, but in the perspective of mortals, they curve inwards and form spheres. Flat Nirn theory might hold up

And yes I noticed this too when drawing it, more specifically that she still has bigger eyes than Gaius.
