Zargothrax: Cat burglar
Out all of my long-time-wip drawings, this is definitely the oldest. The sketch for this was ancient, I made it around when Katia was still about to break in the mages guild. Fixed some issues with the sketch, then did everything else. Finally.
Zargothrax: @lapma: The absurdity of deathcore memes spreading on the Prequel booru brings an odd smile to my face, yes. Not that I'd like the subgenre, but for whatever reason, some of the memes always get me.
Zargothrax: @lapma: @KuroNeko: Thank you! Drawing angry faces for beast races is probably the most entertaining regarding the beast races, because animals can look angry/threatened irl as well, and you get to blend the real animal's expression with the anthropomorphized one. Though I feel like the expression could have been pushed further, like something was missing. Maybe it's just the body for the gesture
Zargothrax: She's pretty cute here also nice lighting ! (side note, maybe she could cast a shadow on the floor) Also, I detect an unnatural lack of grumpyness here.
Zargothrax: @AMKitsune: Don't you worry, this is actually pretty nice and cute! And even if it was bad, that would be more than acceptable in this context.
Zargothrax: It's been a while since I saw something from Sentient here, good lord this is really dynamic! Great coloring too!
@KuroNeko: She's a bit shark-like isn't she? Unique take on her.
Zargothrax: There was no way I'd back out of this. So here is my mouse-only drawing, made in the one-and-only ms paint. (I put way too much effort into this...)
Zargothrax: I'm glad I'm not the only one taking on the implied ms-paint constraint. Nowhere did I say you have to use ms-paint, but it just somehow comes naturally to mind when drawing with a mouse doesn't it? Perhaps it's because that's what everyone drew with as a kid.
And I'm glad I wasn't the only one who didn't even attempt to fix the mess the paint bucket tool makes near contours
Zargothrax: I always had a problem killing khajiiti in TES games, especially women as they look more adorable. In games, you kill people without thinking about it at this point, but killing a khajiit, that's like killing kittens.
Zargothrax: Lovely drawing.
Is that some of the leftover ketchup from last time?
@APayne1776_2: There are countries where they don't just leave you to die, even if you're poor. If Cyrodiil is not one of those, then even if she has insurance, it's probably for medical institutions of Hammerfell, so no. But who needs that anyway when a friendly lizard woman takes care of you?
Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: Thanks! I don't want to take too much credit for the splash though. I googled something like "cartoony splash" then referenced one of those. My attempts without using a reference looked awful. As for the design, it just came out that way, my style is still far from well defined.
@bluedraggy: She is, and thank you! And to clarify here a little (and why the racism tag was needed), here is the reference I was using when drawing this:
The idea came from the mechanic in Oblivion that allowed the player to "run" on top of deep water once they reach 100 in acrobatics.
And a fun-fact: There was a first attempt at drawing her legs, which resembled the original image a lot more closely, but it looked so broken I had to discard it. Then, I referenced hurdlers.
Zargothrax: I have several long-time unfinished drawings, some of which I decided to finally make at least presentable instead of letting them fade into oblivion. This is the first one.
Some of you may recall that Quill is an acrobatics trainer in game. This is her at level 100 in acrobatics.
Zargothrax: Dayum, that's one manly Katia! The runes and the belt look pretty damn good. I also have a Witcher crossover drawing half finished. I think I'll try to finish it now, since we have this already.
Zargothrax: @JohnnyCheesedog: When a dramatic description is submitted, there should be a check for occurrences of specific sites, and if any are found, the page should redirect to a picture of an angry imperial guard yelling something like "Stop right there criminal scum! Nobody mentions that site under my watch! I'm confiscating your comment."
Zargothrax: @bluedraggy: Careful. What is and isn't canon has little significance in what is or should be allowed. Otherwise one third of the current boruu content would be inappropriate in that regard and about half the content on Katia from monosodium glutamate would be.
Nice job on the coloring though! It's not everyday we see a fully colored comic posted.
Zargothrax: Reminds me of pangolins, with the big scales on the tail. And the head became a lot more dragon-like, pretty nice! Wonder what this specimen hoards.
Zargothrax: @Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: Thanks. As I said this was a gesture drawing. Had I had no reference, drawing in this angle would've been a lot more difficult.
The suit was probably the most fun to do. I made it dark grey first, then added a multiply layer for shadows and a color-dodge for the highlights, then added a hue-saturation-lightness filter to the color and the highlight layer. The result? I already painted everything, and was still able to change the color, lightness and saturation of the suit and the light source in retrospect, experiment with them until I find a combination I like. This is why I love digital. Given your workflow, you can separate concerns, and deal with them in a lot more flexible manner.
@Rick2tails: Thank you!
Zargothrax: I was doing gesture drawings one day, and one of them turned out pretty good, so I decided to turn it into a younger Quill, clean it up, detail, and color it.
Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: To me, looks almost like rusted metal (probably because of the square shape (like plates) and the color obviously), which lends it a pretty unique look, I like it! Also, dem hips... nice.

Also argonians using their frills for body language should be canon.

I know very little about firearms, just drew something similar to the reference.
