Zargothrax: @freynk03: Wonder no longer, this mystery has been solved already!
Here: , and from this, Katia's height can be derived: >>2016

- Reply
Zargothrax: Katia had to specify who she is, implying that not even khajiits themselves are able to distinguish one from an other

- Reply
Zargothrax: O, this is really nice! Although, I'd have never guessed that this is Quill.

- Reply
Zargothrax: "sbady"?
And yes those are beautiful eyes, with those reflections. Nice, magical looking nebula!

- Reply
Zargothrax: Bustia Bazongan

- Reply
Zargothrax: Yellowsad? Katia became quite manly again.
Seriously those coats are professionally drawn.

- Reply
Zargothrax: I'm glad it's not the other version that got featured

- Reply
Zargothrax: The last thing someone saw before their sudden and violent demise.
That's one manly Katia!

- Reply
Zargothrax: "I love all the depictions of magic in this comic". Me as well, m8. Also how it is conveyed, explained and practiced. Prequel made it feel not so easy and legitimately difficult to grasp. Great atmospheric painting!

- Reply
Zargothrax: Silly cat, you can't get a tan through your fur.

- Reply
Zargothrax: @Zerorganic: Everyone likes her. Maybe not Rajirra, but she doesn't count.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Pretty cute!
You managed to draw a Rajirra, who isn't a terrible person.

- Reply
Zargothrax: That's a really well drawn Gharug!

- Reply
Zargothrax: @AMKitsune: "It's not a bug, it's a feature!" I've heard that time and time again
For best user experience, one of the following could be done:
1. When a tag is first used, check if it starts with either 'character:' or 'artist:'. If yes, turn the prefix to lowercase.
2. The frontend should categorize tags into the 'Artist' and 'Character' group taking the prefix case insensitively.
3. Fix the tag manually every time this comes up, I guess...
But hey, it's not my call, thanks for fixing the tag, fighting chaos, with the power of tags.

Zargothrax: Pushing the boundaries of the booru, eh?
But not going to lie, albino maid is probably the best OC that was featured here, I'm glad to see more of her.
Also the linked image's color scheme kinda made her look like Ori.

- Reply
Zargothrax: It's strange that this image is somehow less disturbing than that one.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Strange. No matter what I do, the artist tag reverts to starting with capital letter, causing it to being displayed incorrectly. A mod who has access to the code should take a look at this issue.

- Reply
Zargothrax: We did it people, pat yourselves on the shoulder, that abomination is gone from the front page.
Hi, @Snowcookie, you've done a great service to our community, by uploading your art. Let me fix the tags for you.

Zargothrax: Differently cropped duplicate of >>4379
This is one of my favorite images here, this is art.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Is this the deepest part of hell, where people who committed treachery reside for eternity?
Quite dramatic painting!

- Reply
Zargothrax: @damrok4321: draw them differently. You already did that once with the Dutch tilted Katia a few months ago. But in usually, references are your friend, in case you are stuck.
And in general, always start with naked body, that helps a lot, and remember to draw through the forms. It's difficult to create correct anatomy without that if the pose is a bit more complicated and contains parts that are obstructed from view.

- Reply
Zargothrax: @Rick2tails: Thank you. I've just noticed that this drawing combines all 3 ways I make/made drawings.
Traditional: The runes were made on paper a long-log time ago.
Digital painting: The shape of Katia was made using my digital tablet and pen. Smooth and confident brush strokes were a must here (something that I couldn't do back then).
Digital gimmicks: I love gimmicks. Tricks with layers and masks. This painting would be nothing without them. These are the parts for which you don't need any pen. The glow effect, the way Katia defines the color of the light where she is, etc. Fiddling with these was the most time consuming part here.
I really like how this turned out, I think this is possibly my best entry yet.

Zargothrax: Good drawing! Pretty dramatic overall.
Her torso became really short. I can imagine two scenarios:
1.: You wanted to draw her standing upright. In this case you would not be able to fit the obliques between the hip and the ribcage. Actually, the top of the hip bone and the bottom of the ribcage might even overlap here. (by the way, the bottom of the bras/chestpiece should be shaded to show more form)
2.: You wanted to draw her leaning forward, making the torso this short by being subjected to foreshortening. In this case, we should be seeing the top of the shoulders, be directly looking onto the cleavage, and the belt would be probably entirely obstructed by that.
A side note: The fishnet stockings/pants were made by a texture/pattern brush right? Be careful, these brushes have no concept on 3D forms. Towards the sides of her legs, the holes should be seen at an angle and look more narrow and dense, but the brush cannot know that the surface you paint is curved. Therefore, these brushes tend to make things look flat, so it's advise to use them on flat surfaces.

Zargothrax: @Zerorganic, @KuroNeko, @ADudeCalledLeo: Thanks! The tears are an intrinsic part of her character, there was no question about including them.
@damrok4321: Wasn't she always broken

- Reply
Zargothrax: She has Sauron's eye!
Great shading and nice warm colors.
What are those dripping marks on the floor? Her tears from writer's block? Or maybe just booze.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Brutal!
By the way, that's one great painting of a burning town. I especially like how many buildings are illuminated by flames that are obstructed from view; this glow gives the feeling that it's all on fire.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Must have been strange, being the only cat in the class.

- Reply
Zargothrax: I was torn between this version and a version with no background. Here is that version as well:

- Reply
Zargothrax: Come, and worship the cat!
This took me WAY more time than I expected. I originally intended this to be a replacement of >>7195 but since then I changed my mind. Besides, this isn't a direct and straightforward upgrade over that, so it should be fine with the terms and conditions as well.

Zargothrax: This is really great and stylish, I can even see some Tim Burton in here.
This is the kind of drawing that is so far off the kind of style and workflow I use, I think I definitely could not draw anything like this.
you may want to reconsider the tags

- Reply
Zargothrax: Aw, they look so happy and cute, this is what I could imagine as "good end".

- Reply
Zargothrax: I just had an idea on how to spice this up. When done, I'll report the image to have it replaced with the new version.
@Zerorganic: I don't really know how that could even be done.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Splits, yay! Good job on the pose, it's not an easy one to draw.

- Reply
Zargothrax: This is pretty funny, gj GamGyuls. (The unicorn may have grown an additional joint on one front leg)

- Reply
Zargothrax: An another ancient drawing, uploaded for the same purpose as my previous drawing.
Many many years ago, when bored, I used to doodle these. Now, I decided to collect all of the doodles, renovate them digitally (some of them were on lined paper, it was pretty tedious to fix that), and compile them into one drawing.
It may not have a prequel character in it, but I'd say it's still prequel related.

- Reply
Zargothrax: @KuroNeko: I didn't draw it all in one go. When I was doodling out of boredom, I just added a bit more to this drawing. It grew over time.

- Reply
Zargothrax: This is old. Really old. Older than my very first upload. Katia is touching a monolith with runes on it, and they lit up.
I found this drawing a while ago. Wasn't sure if I should upload it, but I thought it would be nice to upload it now, to help shuffle that atrocity out of the first page of the booru a bit faster.

Zargothrax: Poor Katia, always ends up in some weird situation.
By the way, nice background.

- Reply
Zargothrax: Yay, more albino maid!

- Reply
Zargothrax: Pretty cute!

Zargothrax: Nah bit too hard

Zargothrax: This somehow scares me

Zargothrax: Did someone say international lizard day?

- Reply
Zargothrax: Nice work on the dress, she's so pretty here!

- Reply
Zargothrax: This is one damn stylish Rajirra!

- Reply
Zargothrax: 5 hours well spent.
Quill probably got fed up of her being dirty again.

Zargothrax: Four Kings, heh. Let's hope she brought the Covenant of Artorias. And a homeward bone. And something for waking up as quickly as possible.

- Reply
Zargothrax: @Krozbott: That 80s Katia was familiar to me as well

- Reply
Zargothrax: Heh, this is pretty great!
And ahe's very good at sneaking. Just like a true khajiit

Zargothrax: That's an interexting take on feet, I like it.
