bluedraggy: Damn. After I cringe at Sonic, you go and give me all the feels! (Sorry, I'm just so antiSonic I about burst.) Ya done good dude. I'd color it for you, but I suspect you'll be doing that yourself. Just about the cutest thing ever.
bluedraggy: Godwin's law is an Internet adage asserting that "As an online BOORU grows longer, the probability of a CROSSOVER involving SONIC approaches 1"; that is, if an online BOORU (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will CROSSOVER someone or something to SONIC or his deeds, the point at which effectively the BOORU often ends. Promulgated by the American attorney and author Mike Godwin in 1990, Godwin's law originally referred specifically to Usenet newsgroup discussions. It is now applied to any FANART BOORU, such as PREQUEL FANART BOORU, chat rooms, and comment threads, as well as to speeches, articles, and other rhetoric where reductio ad Sonicum occurs.
bluedraggy: Boogeestro drew a Rajirra a few days ago, and I realized that with a little modification, she would be perfect as another illustration for my On His Mane's Secret Service story, so I added a transparent outfit I term a Raba (the official wear of females in the presence of the Mane). In what may be an historic first, I actually DRESSED her rather than the other way round! In fact, in the story she shocks the Royal Palace because she IS wearing underwear. SCANDALOUS! (I've heard it rumored that some of her proportions may not be PRECISELY on-model.)
I did think about doing my own background, but as soon as I dropped this one in to see what it looked like, I knew I couldn't improve on it. It's actually a bit out of this: https://polycount.com/discussion/148195/throne-room-the-temple-of-utu-martinh-minos
So yeah, I guess it's kinda cheating. But if it makes for a better picture, I'm gonna use it.
bluedraggy: Guys, if you feel I'm spamming this stuff too much, let me know. It won't hurt my feelings, really. I don't wanna be that guy, ya know? I guess it's easy enough to ignore - esp with the blacklisting thing. I kinda hate seeing my own post right next to yesterday's. So really, let me know if it's too much and I'll just maybe post multiple chapters once a week or something.
bluedraggy: Careful of those sharp edges, Katia, if you're going to mlem-mlem-mlem out of a can!Though I guess if you can drink wine from a broken bottle, you're probably ok.
bluedraggy: Starting the third (prob last) of the Spyjirra trilogy. I'm hoping it's okay to post as individual chapters because I think posting as a wall of text is intimidating. Unlike the other two, this is entirely my own plot. Only the title is scammed from Bond. If it's considered spamming the booru, I'll relent tho.
bluedraggy: Lots of Katia reading today! Scholorcat is adorable. And she can read nightwriting too. She has skills she doesn't even acknowledge. She's so much more than just a slutcat.
bluedraggy: Felt like coloring something (that could go on the Booru) so I did this old Plague art. (I don't THINK it had been colored before anyway). Telekenesis IS hard. And makes you scrunch up your face in weird and amusing ways.
bluedraggy: With that Rajirra image, I remembered how much I liked this story. So I decided to do an audio reading of it like From Elsweyr with Love. This is chapter 1 - Wears-Only-Ropes. A few definite mistakes, but I'm no professional voice actor, so it will have to do. (Not least of which was how to pronounce Tympanum). So yeah, I'll be posting more of these. Oddly exactly 18 in total.
bluedraggy: Continuously and forever PermanentFace. Continuously and forever. I know that you are absolutely right. There's nothing canon at all to deny she's not an outright coward at very least. But imagination is a funny thing, and the ability of people to overlook the most heinous flaws is well documented. But... look at that picture. Isn't she the cutest cat?
bluedraggy: Thanks helpful modpeople. When I keep forgetting basic things like shadows on the water... yeah. thanks. Now it looks like I know what I'm doing.
bluedraggy: Furnut contributed more to it. When a mod gets around to it, it will be updated to this: . But even better is this one where she's going Mach 6:
bluedraggy: It's a scene from my Spyjirra fanfiction. See, I can foist my own OCs on you without even making them up! I know, but I think it came out very good considering the sketchyness it started as. Everything done by me but the lines! I'm kinda proud, if you can't tell. And hey, give me a break for that one little 'projection' of femininity. I was good other than that!
bluedraggy: @Sashimi: I don't know forms. :) But no, I've seen Boogeestro's coloring. I would not be an improvement. Maybe next week if he hasn't felt like it, but the original artist is the proper colorer. Most of my stuff is at least a year old that is clear isn't gonna get the paintbrush.
bluedraggy: At one time I would have agreed with you Jakobqasadilla, but I'm beginning to come around to Kaz' way of thinking on the subject. A Fav feature would create "winners" and "losers" that really isn't what fanart should be about, and I think that would be inevitable. Instead, you "fav" by leaving comments on ones you like, like this, which requires more time and hopefully more feedback to the artist too. I think this is preferable.
bluedraggy: Lapma, you're getting good! And don't even think I don't notice you starting to shade too. I think what I really like best about this is your color choices. I need to admit that I wasn't too keen on your work at first, but I'm honestly looking forward to what you do next now.
bluedraggy: I had a great time watching you stream this Boogeestro. But I feel it has a serious lack of Slithers the Split-End Snek. (And if I don't have this colored by the end of the week, call the paramedics because I've probably fallen and I can't get up.) And a certain Sashimi is giddy.
bluedraggy: I'd considered coloring it, but I knew I couldn't do it justice. I love your choices AMK. Nice and earthy, kinda watercolorish. Even more dying to write something based on this. I'm sure Bishop will approve too. Now I just want more!
bluedraggy: Finding some coloring inspiration in some of Zokva's stuff. FlapperKat. And proof positive that I can actually color Katia drawings that include clothing.
bluedraggy: No offense to other feature masterpieces but... this is a masterpiece. Alternate timeline where Katia stays home and raises a pet Guar to adulthood? I could definitely write something on this. Inspiring and thanks TONS Bishop!
bluedraggy: I repurposed a drawing by Zokva to show Katia crushing the bowling ball. I guess Sigrid actually did it with magic, but Katia could have too. Pineapples are child's play.
I think I did a pretty decent job of making it booru-tolerable.
bluedraggy: Very nice Raydio. But my, it's true. Costume manufacturers are really skimping on fabric costs these days. Most popular costume for next year will be Hans Christian Anderson's 'Emperor's New Clothes' outfit.
bluedraggy: At the risk of blatantly generalizing the sexes, I think most women want to turn the bad boy good. Similarly, most men want to fix broken women. Both suffer from the delusion that they can do so.
bluedraggy: At long last, and mod approved (barely), Zokva's inebriated Katia Darkstalker. But wait! There's a fanfiction that goes along with it to be posted shortly too! And it also explains why she is far from "on model" here.
bluedraggy: Damn lapma, you're getting good! I understand the reason for the white outline, but not sure it's needed so much here. Then again, I could be wrong. But really, good work! I... may have been less than your greatest fan once upon a time, but I'm beginning to see the error of my ways.
bluedraggy: I have to admit I don't get a lot of the fanart lately, but I don't have to to still like it. Glad to see you getting your own style here lapma!
bluedraggy: In my defense, I also find it weird to say "woman" when referring to a khajiit. I've done it on occasion but it doesn't seem right either. But female khajiit sounds even worse. You wouldn't say female human. But that ban would be impossible to pass the requirements. Better to call Katia a female khajiit I guess. Khajiita? Wo-khajiit?
